Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a list of frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not answered here, you're more than welcome to contact us.

Q: Will you consider expanding the site to include resources for other video games besides Pokémon?
A: No; PokéPrint is, and always will be, a strictly-Pokémon fansite.

Q: I printed something from this site, but it didn't show up properly/some colours were missing!
A: Before you print something, check the last line of text on the page (inside the grey footer). That will tell you the page orientation that we recommend that specific page be printed in (portrait orientation is the default setting, but many of our checklists and guides fit better when printed in landscape orientation). Additionally, by default, documents will print without background colours and images. You can change this setting when you go to print a page in your web browser (it is highly recommended that you do this if you're printing one of our checklists that has partial background colour, such as our type-effectiveness charts, as the background colour has been deliberately included to make for easier reading).
Additionally, when printing Pokémon locations checklists for games from Sword and Shield onwards, we highly recommend using the filtering options to hide unobtainable Pokémon before printing the checklist (this will save several sheets of paper!).

Q: Some of your checklists refer to "Gen". What is "Gen"?
A: "Gen" is short for "Generation" and refers to a grouping of specific Pokémon games according to when they were released, what console they were released on, and (generally) which other Pokémon games they can directly communicate with for battling and trading. Generations are as follows:

Q: Your cursor packs don't contain instructions for installing on a Mac. How do I use your cursors on my Mac?
A: Unfortunately, Apple Mac computers do not natively support custom cursors. There are some third-party applications that do allow you to customise your cursors on a Mac – installation instructions will vary with these, so you'll need to do your own research.

Q: I have a suggestion or request for new content for PokéPrint. Can I submit it?
A: Yes, suggestions for Pokémon-related printable content are welcome. You can contact us with your suggestion.

Q: Can you link to my website? Can we be affiliates?
A: See this page.

Q: Can I be staff?
A: No, sorry. PokéPrint is a small fan site and my personal project, and as such, we do not need or want additional staff members to help manage it. However, if you really want to contribute or donate some kind of content, you're welcome to contact us about it.
